Who qualifies
- Stage: Pre-seed through Series A.
- Age: Founded within the last 36 months.
- Funding: Less than $10M raised.
- Use case: Building an AI-powered product (not reselling API access — that's the Reseller Program).
How to apply
- Create an account at marketplace.
- Go to Settings → Billing → Startup Program.
- Fill out the application — one paragraph on what you're building, your current monthly token volume (or estimate), and a link to your site or deck.
- Hear back within 5 business days.
That's it. No calls required unless we have questions.
What we look for
We approve applications where THROUGHPUTS is a meaningful cost line item for a real product. Specifically:
- You're shipping (or about to ship) an AI-powered feature or product.
- Model API spend will plausibly exceed $500/month within 6 months.
- You're not a subsidiary or sub-brand of a company that wouldn't qualify on its own.
We turn down applications that are clearly personal projects with no commercial intent, or where the applicant is reselling API access.
Renewal
The discount runs for 12 months from approval. After that, your account reverts to standard pay-as-you-go pricing. If you've grown into a committed-use plan by then (most do), the per-token rate you negotiated applies.
To re-apply for an extension, repeat the application — we re-evaluate based on the same criteria.
FAQ
Can I combine the discount with the Reseller Program?
No. The two programs are mutually exclusive. Pick the one that fits your business model.
What happens to my credits if I exceed the cap?
Credits cover the first $500 of spend. After that, the 30% discount still applies to your per-token rate — you're just billed for the discounted amount.
Do the credits expire?
Yes — 12 months from issue. Unused credits are forfeited when the program ends.
Can agencies / consultancies apply?
Yes, if you're building your own product. If you're reselling API access to clients, apply to the Reseller Program instead.
